I was surprised to see the 2013 ACG Hard Rock matchplay coupon still has incorrect instructions on it. I have used this coupon for years, and for at LEAST 3 years the coupon could not be used directly at the tables as the instructions state. Rather, the coupon has to be presented to the players club booth and validated. This year, you then have to print a different coupon to be used at the table, at a kiosk.
So, my question is, after all these years, why do the instructions still say to present the ACG coupon at the table? I expect to get "the casino is not responsible for the instruction not us" as a response. Surely one person that works with ACG has to have used this coupon in the past few years and noticed the instructions were not correct, no? And even if the true fault is with the casino, does some Hard Rock rep actually sign off on these instructions every year before the printing of the book without even checking with the casino staff on the method for redeeming the coupon? Or do they just not care?
Just think of how many frustrated ACG customers there are that follow the coupon instructions only to be told they can't redeem the coupon there!
