Money Management, Cut Your Losses!
This falls under the category of
"Lessons I've Learned",.
There is no "System" that will beat the house.
Anyone that tells you there is is full of it.
For me, it's all about minimizing my losses, which leads to more and longer sessions, and winning once in a while, which is a lot better than I used to do!
There is a specific mathematical formula I use that will keep me in a winning situation, and automatically remove me from a losing situation.
You can use it too, if you want to take the time to learn it and put it into action.
The beauty of it is that it's easy to learn. The hard part is having the discipline to use it.
My personal experience is that I can actually gamble more, and win more often, and have more fun. That's a fact.
Now I'm not saying I can beat the house. I just want to make my gambing dollar go farther.
Gambling to me is a hobby, and I allocate a certain budget to it. Yes, I know the casino has the edge. So what. That's the price of good entertainment. If you want it for free, go take a nature hike, but it will still cost you the gas to get there. Nothing is free.
But we CAN minimize our losses, and maximize our winnings. It's simple.
Some folks don't want to be told when to stop gambling. OK, don't tell me not to have another drink.
Do you have the discipline to quit while your ahead? Good news, you don't even have to do that!
Just use the system, and make your bucks go farther, way farther.
So,what is it?
Simple.
Set you session amount.
Set a win goal and a loss limit.
If you hit your loss limit, stop playing that particular game or machine, and walk.
When you hit your win goal, break your winnings in half and play out the excess, and put the other half in your pocket,along with your original stake, and leave it there.
If your on a TITO,(ticket in ticket out) then you have to do some quick math. Cash out, and stick the difference back in in cash and play it out. If it keeps hitting, do it again! Half in the pocket, play out the other half. Do this until the machine or game gets cold. You're guaranteed to leave ahead.
Never touch the money once it's in your pocket, under any circumstances. That's your profit!
In this way you will never leave a hot machine or game until it cools off, the results will speak for themselves.
Ive been on hot machines and tables that hit like there was no tomorrow, but eventually they all cool off.
Then I've been on machines, and table games, that were colder than liquid nitrogen from the moment I sat down.
Why beat a dead horse? You can't win on these, get off.
Even a rat has enough sense to jump off of a burning ship.
Find a machine that's hitting, and stay on it.
If you see someone hit a jackpot and leave, get on that machine fast, because it's in a hitting trend.
Some will say there's nos such thing as a winning trend. So you've never been on a winning streak?
If the game's not going your way, find another one, quick.
Don't play games with low returns, learn the pay scales if you can.
Some casinos offer better returns. Find those and play at them.
