yes it makes a big difference they are monitoring your average bet,your buy in amount and how long you played..that is a formula they use to figure and rate your play...hope this helps you.
NEVER 'PLAY' FOR comps unless you can't find any other way to throw out your money.
If you are going to play anyway ALWAYS play with your card and gladly accept any comps that are coming your way but this whole notion of 'playing for comps' is just one tool casinos use to get your money faster.
Now if you are an advantage player then what I say doesn't exactly apply but then if you are an advantage player then you would play more and faster so you can make your money faster and not just for the comps.
