  • Video Poker Odds and Stastics

Been using this site for some time now. I searched the site in depth tonight and found this neat chart. It answered all my questions about drawing to hands.

Video Poker Odds and Statistics | Completing Hands, Deals and Draws

Very informative site, with lots there.

    What are your "go-to" sites?

    Per your site:

    Turning three of a kind into a quad 1 / 24

If there's only ONE card left to fill a Quad, wouldn't that make it 1/47 ?

Betcha if you're dealt TWO 7's (no club), you'll draw a Jack in the first 2 drawn.
Betcha you're missing a TEN for straights too.

Hmmm... to the first part, that does make sense. I have sent them an email stating that.I will post their response here if I get one...

The second part of your post, I am lost. Sorry lee...

The actual odds of catching the quad when dealt 3 of a kind is 1 out of 23.5 because on the redraw you are dealt 2 new cards.

This is what I heard back from a post I had asking this question on their forum:

The way I think about it is with combinations.

          Drawing two cards you have 1081 possible combinations. 47x46 / 1x2 = 1081

Of those 1081 combination 46 will give create 4K drawing to 3K.

          Let's say you have AAA

You draw an ace, now there are 46 cards remaining of which any will do.

          1081 / 46 = 23.5

So, once again, westie has the answer, and a correct answer. Thanks again...
