| LAS VEGAS (June 17, 2016) - Downtown's favorite pool party, Night Swim at Golden Nugget Las Vegas will return for a summer of blockbuster events. The Tank, which Travel Channel ranks as one of the most extreme pools in the world, will feature themed parties, live entertainment, and movie screenings. Featured Events Family Movie Night: Jaws (June 24) Celebrate the return of Shark Week with a special screening of "Jaws." Enjoy the cult classic in close proximity to The Tank's collection of Tiger sharks, sandbar sharks, zebra sharks, and nurse sharks. Red Wine and Booze Night Swim (July 1) Inspired by the colors of the flag, Red Wine and Booze night invites people to get patriotic, while enjoying cocktails under the night moon. Blend Night Swim (July 7, August 11, September 5) Get loud and proud at the only nighttime LGBT pool party in Las Vegas, where DJs spin the hottest beats while guests enjoy food and drink specials poolside. Jurassic Night Swim (July 15) DJ HiTone delivers beats all night long at the Jurassic Night Swim with games and poolside entertainment. Family Movie Night: Jurassic Park (July 16) Sharks vs. Dinosaurs: The ultimate battle of the beasts competing for guests' attention will take place poolside at The Tank, where the fan-favorite classic will be screened. Olympic Night Swim (August 5) Go for the gold! Celebrate the opening of the Summer 2016 Olympics poolside with drink specials and giveaways. Family Movie Night: Pixels (August 19, *8 p.m. Start Time) What happens when your favorite arcade games come to life? Find out at the special screening of Pixels at The Tank! Swimsuits and Hometown Roots Night Swim (August 26) Gotta support the team! Guests who don their favorite team's jersey are eligible to compete in the competition with food and drink specials offered. Bikinis and Martinis Night Swim (September 2) Come live life on the edge with Marty the Party Shark as he serves up tasty drink specials. Baywatch Night Swim (September 16) Bust out the lifeguard attire for Baywatch Night Swim, featuring entertainment and games that would make The Hoff jealous. Bikefest Night Swim (September 30) Motor in on Bikefest Night Swim and enjoy classic rock, domestic beer specials, and more. The award-winning Golden Nugget Las Vegas pool, also known as The Tank, features a centerpiece 200,000-gallon live shark aquarium, a three-story waterslide that showcases a clear passage through the Shark Tank, waterfalls, 15 private cabanas and the H2O poolside lounge. The Tank offers two floors to soak up the sun and relax with family and friends for a day of poolside fun. All Night Swim events, unless otherwise stated*, run from 7 p.m. to midnight and are free and open to the public. The Tank is open daily for cabana rentals and swimming from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. for H2O Bar, viewing of The Tank and hot tub access. In addition, non-hotel guests and locals can gain access for $30 per day. Cabanas and daybeds may be rented year-round and rates and availability may vary depending on season and day of week (limited availability and prices subject to change). |
