Chicago, IL (July 2010) – Horseshoe Casino, located just 20 minutes from downtown Chicago, is excited to announce details of the $1 Million Spin of a Lifetime promotion. The promotion will begin Friday, July 2 and end Sunday, August 22, 2010.
Guests will earn one entry into the finale by swiping their Total Rewards® card at promotional kiosks or by simply playing their favorite slot machine or table game. In addition, guests will receive one entry for every 50 Base Reward Credits® earned throughout the promotional period. Entries earned Monday through Wednesday will be tripled. This exciting promotion is open to the public, so everyone has a chance at winning up to $1,000,000!
“Horseshoe is dedicated to finding new and unique ways for our guests to win, and win big. The $1,000,000 Spin of a Lifetime promotion is Horseshoe’s most exciting event of the year,” noted Joe Branchik, Vice President of Marketing. “Participating guests will have numerous opportunities to win and at our Grand Finale event on August 22, five finalists will win up to $1,000,000 each.”
On Sunday, August 22, guests must activate their entries by 4:00pm to qualify for the Grand Finale. One finalist will be announced at 5:00pm, one finalist at 6:00 pm, one at 7:00pm and two finalists will be announced in The Venue during the Grand Finale. Horseshoe invites all guests to come experience the exciting finale where our five finalists will take their Spin of a Lifetime on our giant wheel. The wheel contains three reels, which each reel containing dollar amounts from $5,000 to $20,000 and each reel containing one Horseshoe logo. Finalists will receive the sum of the three reels, unless a Horseshoe logo appears:
If one reel of a finalist’s spin lands on a Horseshoe logo, they will win $25,000 plus the value of the other two reels.
If two reels of a finalist’s spin land on a Horseshoe logo, they will win $250,000 plus the value of the remaining reel.
If all three reels of a finalist’s spin land on a Horseshoed logo, they will win $1,000,000!
Each finalist is guaranteed to win at least $15,000 cash and can potentially win up to $1,000,000!
