LAS VEGAS (Feb 22, 2012) – Mob Attraction Las Vegas, formerly Las Vegas Mob Experience, today it will fully reopen on Thursday, March 1 at Tropicana Las Vegas.
The interactive portion of the attraction had previously been closed while the audio visual equipment was being upgraded and enhancements were being made to the special effects the attraction has become known for. The new equipment will enhance special effects and help with visitor flow.
The Mob Attraction offers a mix between entertainment and museum, using authentic artifacts, new technology and storytelling, it brings to life a time and era gone by. It takes visitors on a highly interactive, immersive journey through the world of organized crime. Live character actors and apparitions of various celebrity gangster guides including James Caan, Frank Vincent, Tony Sirico and Mickey Rourke come to life as 3D holograms helping visitors find their way through. At the same time, guests are given unprecedented access to the private lives of some of history’s most notorious men, such as Benjamin “Bugsy” Siegel, Meyer Lansky, Tony Spilotro and many more.
“Since acquiring the attraction we set a goal of being open by March 1,” said Andrew DeMaio, President of JVLV New Holdings, parent company of Mob Attraction Las Vegas. We’ve worked very hard to meet this goal and with the fine tuning and enhancements made to the attraction, we are confident we will exceed our guest’s expectations.”
With the relaunch comes new pricing and hours. Beginning March 1, Mob Attraction Las Vegas is open daily from 10a.m. – 9p.m. General admission is $25, $22 for locals, seniors and military and $15 for children ages 6-11. Children five years of age and under are free.
