  • New Audio Tour Available at Auto Collection at Imperial Palace in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (July 2, 2012) – A new audio tour featuring information on 60 historic automobiles is now available at The Auto Collections at Imperial Palace Las Vegas.

During a visit to the classic car extravaganza, guests can listen to an hour-long recording which includes facts on some of the most notable automobiles in the collection including the limo President JFK rode in a week before his assassination, the Suburban from the hit television show “The Sopranos,” the race car in the 1989 Corvette Challenge and talk show host Johnny Carson’s Chrysler Royal.

Listeners of the audio tour will also hear about Eleanor, the famous Mustang from the 2000 action hit, “Gone in Sixty Seconds,” now on display at The Auto Collections. The 1967 Mustang Fastback, one of the most recognizable Mustangs, was one of just 11 built for filming and the primary vehicle actor Nicholas Cage drove and performed in in the film.

Car lovers and movie fans have the opportunity to take home the famous piece of memorabilia as the Mustang is currently on sale for $375,000. Eleanor was previously on display at The Auto Collections in June 2003 and March 2006. To this day, it remains one of the all-time most crowd-pleasing attractions. General admission into The Auto Collections is $11.95; children under 12 and seniors over 65 are $8.
