LAS VEGAS – July 19, 2012 – The competition will heat up the casino floor when the D Las Vegas holds its ‘Downtown Showdown’ Blackjack Tournament Friday, July 27th – Sunday, July 29th.
For a $100 buy-in, all participants will be issued $5,000 in non-negotiable tournament chips at the start of each round. A double deck will be used and players must play every hand betting at least the $100 minimum. A total of $50,000 in winnings will be awarded to winners and payable in free play or tax-free play-till-you-lose promo chips.

5th Place $ 2,500
6th Place $ 1,500

Friday, July 27
· Registration
6:00 p.m.
Players will register at the Golden Gate Hotel & Casino and receive a free gift with $100 buy-in.
Saturday, July 28
· First Round
9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
The top score(s) from each table in the First Round will advance to the Quarter-Final Round.
· Quarter-Final Round
4:00 and 5:00pm
The top score(s) from each table in the Quarter-Final Round will advance to the Semi-Final Round.
Sunday, July 29
· Wild Card Drawing
9:30 a.m.
Wild Card Drawing will take place to fill any remaining seats in the Semi-Final Round. All players participating in the tournament are eligible to be drawn.
· Semi-Final Round
10:00 a.m.
The player with the highest score at each table in the Semi-Final Round will advance to the Final Round.
· Final Round
12:00 p.m.
All winners will receive play-till-you-lose promotional chips.
