TUNICA, Miss., December 11, 2012 – Harrah’s Tunica and the great state of Mississippi will host the Man Crates World’s Largest Cornhole Board attempt presented by American Cornhole, LLC (ACO) Wednesday, January 9. ManCrates.com is producing the board and the world record attempt that will kick off the ACO World Championships of Cornhole, VII January 9-12, 2013.
“We have had this idea in the works for months and are very excited to announce it is officially happening thanks to our awesome partners. There have been big boards and world record attempts in the past but we are confident we will set the definitive Guinness World Record this January in Tunica,” said Jon Beekman, CEO/Founder of Man Crates.
“Cornhole synonymous with tailgating and backyard fun, enjoyed by millions of all ages, is about to take center stage. No longer will the game be just a whisper. The ACO, the governing body of the sport of cornhole, is proud to partner with ManCrates.com as we make a world record pitch for the Guinness Cornhole Board World Record. Cornhole fans around the world can join this monumental journey by following Great Big Cornhole on Facebook at www.facebook.com/greatbigcornhole. Fans are encouraged to post photos of themselves on the Facebook wall to have their picture printed on the actual world record board. The Facebook page will also have up-to-date news on the building of the board, test launches and the grand finale unveiling event.
Man Crates has also partnered with “Cinderella’s Revenge” an official Punkin Chunkin trebuchet team from Maryland to oversee the spectacular launch, sending gigantic oversize bags across football field length distances.
The official unveiling and launch will be held on Wednesday January 9, 2013 at Harrah’s Tunica.
