LAS VEGAS (May 16, 2013) – Memorial Day falls on May 27 in 2013, and creates a three-day weekend where Las Vegas locals and visitors can enjoy “the unofficial start of summer.” Caesars Entertainment will celebrate the holiday weekend with parties at venues throughout its resorts and offer live entertainment, food and drink specials and exciting giveaways. Memorial Day weekend offerings include:
Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino
- Pleasure Pool will kick-off its annual Saturday bikini contest on Saturday, May 25, 2013, offering guests a chance to win more than $5,000 in cash prizes. The sizzling Saturday bikini competitions are sure to wrangle in the best bikini body of the summer! This Memorial Day weekend, disc jockey and producer Roger Gangi, DJs Mikey Swift and Two Fist Tommy will spin all weekend at the pool while guests enjoy drink specials including two-for-one Cabo shots, $25 Miller and Coors buckets and two-for-one SKY and Red Bull.
Flamingo Las Vegas
- GO Pool will kick-off the weekend with GO Friday: a pool party and booty-shaking contest hosted by KVEG HOT 97.5 FM’s Jeff G on Friday, May 24, 2013. The radio station will broadcast live from the pool, giving away prizes from their tent while offering lucky listeners a chance to win complimentary pool entrance and free drinks. Guests can enjoy the atmosphere of the pool and the thrill of gambling at poolside gaming tables all weekend. Carnaval Court Emcee Brian will host kayak races, limbo contests, booty-shaking contests and a variety of other poolside activities that will take place throughout the weekend. Guests may participate in a chance to win a $30 bar tab and free tickets to a Las Vegas show. Drink specials include two-for-one frozen margaritas and Tecate drafts with a pool wristband, $5 shot of El Jimador tequila and keep-the-shot glass, $20 open bar for ladies Friday and Saturday night starting at 10:30 p.m. and get-a-free-t-shirt when you buy a 100-ounce Bazooka. - BLU Pool will celebrate with a pool party hosted by The Rat Pack on Saturday, May 25, 2013. Guests will have the chance all weekend to win tickets to Tony & Tina’s Wedding and Jubilee! at Bally’s and The Rat Pack at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. Two lucky grand-prize winners will have the opportunity to be in Tony & Tina’s Wedding live! Live DJ entertainment will be provided by DJ Yameel of ULTRA DJs. - Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis will celebrate with drink specials and giveaways throughout the holiday weekend. Drink specials will include $35 buckets of Coors Light, Mike’s Hard Lemonade and Mike’s Hard Black Cherry Lemonade and $150 bottles of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label. The pool deck will feature a Syrup Swimwear promotion that will offer guests special giveaways.
- Bacchanal Buffet will feature Memorial Day-inspired menu additions to its seafood, American, carving, Italian, salad and dessert stations. Select additions include barbeque-glazed scallops, fried coconut shrimp, mini “Boston Style” lobster rolls, a variety of hot dogs and corn dogs, barbeque pulled pork sliders, barbeque chicken and pork chops, barbeque chicken and pulled pork pizza, summer cobb salad and a collection of delicious desserts.
- Central Michel Richard will kick-off Memorial Day weekend with a party on its all-new French garden-inspired patio. The patio was recently opened for the season, offering guests an outdoor option for the warm-weather months. The holiday weekend kick-off party will take place on Friday, May 24, 2013 and will feature live DJ entertainment, a collection of special small bites and specialty cocktails.
Paris Las Vegas
- Soleil Pool will celebrate the holiday weekend with live entertainment, drink specials and giveaways all weekend long. Giveaways will include show tickets to Jersey Boys at Paris Las Vegas and Tony & Tina’s Wedding at Bally’s Las Vegas, KETEL ONE swag and listen-to-win prizes with KKLZ 96.3 FM.
