TUNICA, Miss., July 30, 2014 – Tunica Roadhouse Casino & Hotel will celebrate 20 years of gaming this weekend. To commemorate the occasion, the property is giving out free t-shirts while supplies last starting at 5 p.m. on Friday, August 1, and offering a free concert by Cowboy Mouth at 9 p.m. on Saturday, August 2.
“We are honored to be celebrating 20 successful years in Tunica,” said R. Scott Barber, Regional President, Caesars Mid-South. “We invite everyone to Tunica Roadhouse this weekend to celebrate with us, pick up a free t-shirt, and enjoy a free concert by Cowboy Mouth.”
Opened on August 1, 1994 as the Sheraton Casino and Hotel, it was one of three casinos in the Casino Center development. The Tunica Roadhouse concept, which features a mechanical bull and non-casino gaming area including beer pong, corn hole and pool tables, debuted in December 2009 with a motorcycle procession and ribbon cutting ceremony. Tunica Roadhouse uses reclaimed materials to create an authentic roadhouse atmosphere where all the table games are supported by Jack Daniel’s whiskey barrels.
To continue the anniversary celebration, Tunica Roadhouse will give away a jet ski on August 2. Total Rewards members receive a free entry each day upon swiping their membership card at promotional kiosks, as well as one bonus entry for every 10 Tier Credits earned during the promotional week. Official contest rules are located at the casino services desk.
Tunica Roadhouse guests will have a chance to enter the Money Machine and collect up to $2,000 in free slot play August 9, 16, 23 and 30. Drawings will be held every 30 minutes from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Total Rewards members will receive a free entry each day beginning August 3.
Tunica Roadhouse offers a daily slot tournament awarding $1,000 in free play, three times Reward Credits® every day, free live entertainment daily, blackjack bonanza drawings every Friday, and free mechanical bull rides on Fridays and Saturdays.
About Cowboy Mouth
For over two decades, Cowboy Mouth has dished up its unique style of rock & roll gumbo, mixing a rowdy spirit reflective of the band's hometown, New Orleans, with the fierce firepower of a group that lives on the road. These Louisiana natives have played more than 2,500 concerts and launched their signature song, "Jenny Says,” into the upper half of the Billboard rock charts. Above all else, they earned a well-deserved rep as a raucous, redemptive, live music experience.
