  • Vegas wants you badly in 2011

The economy is in the dumper, and as you can imagine Vegas as taken a hit over the past few years. It seem like they are desperate to get people in town, spending money.

As I posted recently, I'm staying 4 nights(including a friday) at IP for ZERO dollars.
Granted, my Harrah's Entertainment tier score may have something to do with it, but free, for four nights, on a friday. Awesome.

Other offers you'll see for Harrah's Properties include the "all day buffet" where basically you buy one ticket, and either for the day or for 24 hours (i have no clue) you can go to any one of their properties' buffets. So you can do breakfast at harrah's, dinner a caesars, and lunch at another property. I'm not 100% sure what all they own. I know harrah's caesars, flamingo, IP...rio maybe?
I also saw where they have these $49 or $59 rooms that INCLUDE that buffet in the cost, which is practically a free room, or damn close to it.

I've seen stuff on twitter that Palms has some deals that include a room for $80 and a $50 meal voucher, which is a $30 room, and other sexy stuff like that.

Casino Royale, also on the strip, has what they advertise as the "best deal" but haven't revealed any numbers to me, free slot dollars ($50) and some sort of coupon/savings book that they'll give out for free if you have their comp card or something.

This is what i'm seeing for now, and will post back with anything I find between now and then.

    Hitting,

I believe the promotion you are speaking of is called, "The Buffet of Buffets." You can eat at as many buffets at harrah's-owned properties in a 24-hour period.

The properties owned by Harrah's in Las Vegas include: Harrah's, Caesars Palace, Paris, Planet Hollywood, The Flamingo, Rio and The Imperial Palace. It can also be used at both buffets at Rio, The Carnival World Buffet and the Village Seafood Buffet.

Harrah's offers a 2-night hotel stay package which includes 2 of these buffet passes, or you can buy them individually for $44.99.

      that's the deal.
I didn't get the 2 night deal, I got my nights comped at the IP, but plan on buying this for at least one day, and do a "buffet tour" for a little variety.

Aren't the buffets usually like $30 or $35 anyway?
If so, its a pretty sweet deal

I've got two nights at Harrahs and one night at Planet Hollywood during a big medical conference completely comped at the end of June.

The 24 hour buffet pass keeps creeping up in price though. It is only a good deal if you can squeeze 4+ meals in at the current price.
