LAS VEGAS–Sept. 27, 2016-Boyd Gaming today announced that it has completed its acquisition of Aliante Casino + Hotel + Spa. The property expands Boyd Gaming’s presence to 10 properties in the Las Vegas Valley.
“As the premier gaming asset in North Las Vegas, Aliante provides a tremendous opportunity to participate in the long-term growth of the northern part of the Las Vegas Valley,” said Keith Smith, President and Chief Executive Officer of Boyd Gaming. “We see a bright future ahead for Aliante, and we look forward to working with its talented team members in helping the property realize its full potential.”
Aliante will remain mostly unchanged for the foreseeable future, and current operating hours for Aliante’s many amenities will remain the same. However, some exciting transitions are anticipated in the next several months:
Aliante Casino + Hotel + Spa is a AAA Four Diamond gaming entertainment resort located near the master-planned Aliante community in North Las Vegas. - New Leadership at Aliante: Longtime Boyd Gaming executive Kerrie Burke joins the Aliante team today as Vice President and General Manager, and Aliante’s Vice President of Human Resources Rich Danzak is assuming the role of Assistant General Manager.
- Transition to Boyd Gaming Race and Sports hub: Aliante is now a part of the Boyd Gaming Race and Sports hub, and will offer the latest Boyd Gaming lines at its ultra-modern, 170-seat race and sports book. - Transition to B Connected: Aliante is expected to join Boyd Gaming’s nationwide loyalty program, B Connected, in 2017. Aliante customers who are part of the Aliante Players Club will have their current account transferred to a B Connected account when the transition is completed. Additional information about the transition will be provided in the coming months.
