  • Other Message Board Populatity I don't get it.

I don't get it. This is American Casino Guide, the go to casino guide with great coupons, content and URL access to the ACG You Tube Channel.

Why then do other Message Boards enjoy such a large following?

Then there's the Wizard, Considered to be the Utmost Authority on Casino Gambling. I would think these two places are the place to go for Gambling and all things related for discussion.

Can you explain this to me?

Is it the colors? The Name? Google placement? (that could be a factor, as I know of one that definitely advertises for google on their site)
Google pays a very small percentage of less that XX fractions of one cent per hit depending, and then sells the captive audience advertising placement for many millions of dollars.

So help me out here gang. Any Ideas on how to make this and the Wizard's site the go to place for Gambling and related topics?

    Hi Ben:

    I agree with you.

I think there is something up with Google when they post search results and we don't get found very often.

Anyway, thanks for giving your input on the situation.

If those of you that have purchased the American Casino Guide Book (which is a bargain considering two or three coupons used would more that pay for the book) and have not taken the time to browse throughout the publication you are missing out. There is a wealth of information in there about gambling, how to play, best strategies, table layouts and more.

So for those of you who have not ever ordered the American Casino Guide book you might want to consider it for that reason alone.
I used to take it with me to the casino and my wife and I would refer to it if we had a question about something, a game we were plying and many other things we would find the answers in it.

So check it out if you havn't done so yet.

I get one every year, and it has actually made us money far beyond the cost. That's a fact!

Order it here from ACG. If you don't you're missing out, plain and simple.

        Hi Ben,

We don't do many forums, but my wife and I recently had a situation that is still ongoing, and started looking around for anyone else experiencing this problem. In doing that, we wanted to address your comment about popularity. In checking ACG's forums, we see almost 16,000 viewers looking at the Fantasy Springs thread being caught tampering with a gaming device. That was a pretty interesting situation, even though it was controversial.

And that's what we see lacking in ACG. Sometimes controversial things happen, especially with gaming, but if comments are not forthcoming from other members, people get discouraged. You must admit, the gaming industry is looked down upon, mostly by people who don't understand it. At our age, we can think of no other entertainment, that brings us the excitement, and downright enjoyment, other than gaming! Granted, at a cost, but always with that chance, of taking home what you came with, or every once in a while, a little more.

However, there are situations that should be addressed, even if they are controversial and shed a negative light on the gaming industry. If we thought, for one minute, that the gaming industry was fixed, we would never step foot in another casino. Common sense - the odds of every gaming device, are in their favor. There is no reason to cheat. They have all the time and money in the world.

Back to what types of threads we believe would bring attention to American Casino. However, you do have to step on some toes.

It's because coupon books are a declining trend. As those in their 50's-70's stop going to Vegas the importance of needing ACG/LVA go down also. The younger generation is not looking to use forums or coupons. They want answers quickly and with the tap of a button. The ACG/LVA have failed to keep up with technology and the growing trends of social media. Posting a Youtube video once a month does not get the job done. They want live streams weekly while you are in Vegas. People are not looking to pay for a book regarding Vegas information when it's all available online.
