  • Do You Remember.....

When the Westward Ho existed. As its demise approached, some of the things we really liked began to disappear.

There used to be a champagne fountain back near the snack bar. We'd get one of those humungous hot dogs and split it and chase it down with champagne from the fountain.

You could get a continental breakfast at the snack bar on the cheap that included to donuts, juice, and coffee.

There was a big free slot machine out front that never paid off much but was fun to play.

There was a bank of nickel video poker with a two-sided progressive that paid either one of the other on a royal. Always crowded and very hard to find a machine.

    Ah, memories!!!!

Some considerable years ago, we were in there with borth/sis-in-law and The Ho had free bloody Marys and chocolate chip cookies!!! Odd comb, but we comsumed our share! When we first started go to LV in the early '90s, we would always stop in for a Ho Dog--it usually took the rest of the trip to digest it.
