5/26/09 - Full House Resorts (NYSE Amex US: FLL) announced today in conjunction with the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi that FireKeepers Casino in Battle Creek, Michigan will open its doors in early August 2009.
“We are thrilled to be within sight of the finish line and able to put a more specific timeframe on the opening,” said Andre Hilliou, Chief Executive Officer of Full House. “The casino remains on schedule, on budget and we look forward to the opening of this gleaming new facility in a few short months.”
FireKeepers Casino is located at Exit 104 directly off Interstate 94 in Battle Creek, Michigan. FireKeepers will have a 107,000 square foot gaming floor with 2,680 slot machines, 78 table games, 12 poker tables and a bingo hall. In addition, the property will feature five restaurants – including a 70-seat fine dining signature restaurant – a 300-seat buffet and 150-seat 24-hour coffee shop, as well as an enclosed 2,078-space parking garage attached to the casino.
