  • Upholstery Maintenance Guide

Hey folks, I need some advice on keeping my couch and other upholstered furniture looking good. I’ve got a kid and a dog, so you can imagine the mess I’m dealing with—crumbs, pet hair, random spills. Any tips or tricks to keep my upholstery from getting trashed without needing to clean it every day?

I feel ya—kids and pets make upholstery maintenance a real battle. First off, vacuum your couch regularly to get rid of those crumbs and fur before they get stuck in the fabric. A fabric protector spray can also be a lifesaver when it comes to spills. Blot any stains as soon as they happen, don’t rub! And if things are looking a little too far gone, I’d definitely consider Chicago Couch Cleaning https://chicago-couchcleaning.com/ . Their upholstery & carpet cleaning services in Chicago are top-notch. They’ve got this multi-stage process that really gets rid of all that dirt and allergens, and it's great for keeping everything fresh without constant DIY scrubbing.
