Anyone else here have trouble with their Bosch appliances? My Bosch dishwasher’s been giving me a headache lately—it’s not draining properly, and I keep finding water pooled at the bottom. I’ve cleaned the filter and checked for clogs, but nothing seems to fix it. Any tips before I go calling in a repair tech?

I know exactly what you mean—those Bosch appliances are usually rock-solid, but they can act up from time to time. It sounds like you might be dealing with a faulty drain pump or maybe the float switch is stuck. Those issues are pretty common and not always easy to fix on your own. If it’s been a while since you’ve had a professional check it out, you might want to give Astera Services https://www.asteraservice.com/ in Chicago a call. They’re really top-notch when it comes to appliance and HVAC installing and repairing services. They sorted out my Bosch fridge last year when it wasn’t cooling properly. They got it back up and running in no time, and it’s been smooth sailing since. Definitely worth it if you want to keep your dishwasher going strong.

I had a similar problem with my Bosch dishwasher. It turned out that the drain hose was clogged, cat hair had gotten into the hose. While you've already checked the filter, it's worth checking the hose again for any blockages or kinks. You can also try running a cleaning cycle with a dishwasher cleaning tablet.Last edited by Pannour; 12-09-2024, 08:56 AM.
