Atlantic City, N.J. (April 19, 2010) – Bally’s Atlantic City today announced exciting plans for a revitalization of the popular Wild Wild West Casino, bringing new life into one of Atlantic City’s most iconic casinos. The project renovations will begin in May and will allow Bally’s to offer even more in the way of unbeatable value in food and beverage and free entertainment. The culmination of the $1.5 million renovation will be a grand opening event in late June.
“The Wild Wild West Casino is a much loved and important part of the Bally’s brand,” said Joe Domenico, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Bally’s Atlantic City. “This project provides us the opportunity to bring our entertainment, nightlife, and gaming opportunities to a new level without diminishing the charm and essence found at the Wild Wild West Casino.”
Included in the renovation will be the addition of the Main Stage, a live entertainment venue located between Caesars and Bally’s center boardwalk in the heart of the Wild Wild West offering on-going, free concert programming. Located adjacent to the stage will be a dedicated beer pong area; a new beer bar; and last, but not least, a full-sized mechanical bull.
The revamped Wild Wild West Casino will also offer a dedicated Wheel of Fortune gaming area with over 58 games including *** in the City, Indiana Jones, Amazing Race, Diamond Factory, Wheel of Fortune Experience and more. The popular Mountain Sports Bar will get a new neighbor with the addition of a Wild About Wings restaurant offering bar snacks, several varieties of wings and a multitude of dipping sauces, some so hot you may need to sign a waiver. Shorty the Sheriff, the casino mascot, and The Vixens, the casino’s playful resident dancers, will be providing ongoing entertainment throughout the casino floor.
