    Insurance and Liability Concerns

    I got a call yesterday from the insurance company regarding my cedar tree. The thing is, it's growing close to the house and they need to evaluate its risk assessment. What specific testing do I need to do for them?

    Most likely your insurance company is referring to a tree risk assessment from an arborist. I too have experienced this situation and have requested this service from Evans West Valley Spray. They use sonic tomography, this technology allows them to examine the insides of the wood in order to give a reliable assessment of the condition of the tree. If it turns out to be bad, the tree will most likely have to be cut down as directed by the insurance company.
