    Land in Texas with a lake nearby

    I will be retiring in a few years, so I would like to sell my apartment in Houston and build a small house in a smaller town in Texas. What is a good town you know in Texas where they sell land? Preferably near a lake, because I really like living near beautiful nature.

    What is your budget and how big a parcel do you want? About 3 years ago I bought a lot in Lufkin, I was helped to find it on texasgreenerpastures.com . It's a very nice place, only 30 minutes drive to Hanks Creek Park and 10 minutes to Kurth Lake and Houston is not far away. Check out the photos of these places on Google, or do you want me to send you a photo in private messages?
