The new Rumor Suites have opened across the street from the Hard Rock. They charge a resort fee of $9.95 which includes wifi in the room, pool, and valet parking. No tax is added to that fee.

    Re: Rumor Suites

Since when did it become acceptable for most of the Las Vegas hotels to charge "resort fees"?

In a time when Vegas is really hurting it is a bad practice for casinos to charge resort fees.

      Re: Rumor Suites

I fear the trend worked as more and more places are jumping on the bandwagon. Harrah's took the opposite approach and that may be what holds Gold coast and Palms to just a pittance. Downtown too has avoided them except for the Gold Spike owned by the same folks as the Rumor Suites.
