question about slot bonus games

Am I crazy, or does it seem like if I bet low on a machine, I get the bonus game more often? For example if I bet 20 lines times 1 bet per line, I get the bonus more often than if I bet 20 lines times 20 bet per line. If every pull is random, no matter what the bet is, then this can't be true. Can there be a different randomizer depending on the value of the bet?

If you bet the minimum amount required to be eligible for a bonus, then it doesn't matter how big your total bet is.

On those bonusing machines the machines do not take into account how much you bet as to how often the bonus will show up.

All you have to do is bet the minimum amount required to be eligible for the bonus and the bonus round will show up just as often as if you bet the maximum amount possible.
