I have a friend who is a real low roller slot player. She has a hard time earning enough play for buffet comps. Hating to pay cash for food, she walks around the high limit slot room looking for someone shoving money into a $5 slot machine but not having a players card in the machine's slot. She then asks that player if he/she would mind if she put her card in that machine. She has never been turned down. It doesn't take her too long to earn her desired comp and it costs the player nothing.

Re: Creative Gambling
One time I forgot my card in a slot machine, (along with $26.) I came back later to find my card still in there, but someone had played out my $26. They must have been on there for a long time, because it earned me enough points to be comped one night on the room.

If you go to Vegas with a friend, and they're not interested in getting a card, or you want to be comped by doubling up on your points, get 2 cards in your name, give one to your friend and have he or she play with your card as well.
My wife and I do this. I play her card and she does too so she racks up the points. She gets more comp offers than I do. I've heard woman get better offers. I don't doubt it but I have no evidence other than speculation by other board members.
Anyone know this to be true?
