Reported that $9 a night is added to the bill. As far as I know, this is not done yet at Foxwoods.
I am heading out that way hopefully Dec 19-20. Generally, I call The Microhotel just a mile away to see if they have room for me to use my Roomsaver coupon. A seasonal $40 a night the last I looked, but now $69 which includes a shuttle to the casino running until midnight or so(call and ask as times change). Nice rooms. I have always managed to get a room with the coupon. Microwave and refrigerator I believe were included so leftovers can be warmed up.
Cab is about $7 if you went up on the free shuttle and came home in the early morning. So two free drinks and the value of the cab ride is paid.
I'm going up solo if the weather is nice enough just to escape the Christmas shopping tensions.
It used to be we had to pick up these coupons at rest stops on the Thruway, and it is still a good idea to grab one because the prices change, but
roomsaver.com will let you print a coupon. I wish I had printed the $40 offer.
