  • Going to Biloxi

Tomorrow morning I am going to Biloxi. Due to poor health I need to take a lot of medical equipment which keeps me from flying. I don't want to drive either. That leaves two options: (1) stay home or (2) take a bus tour. I opted for option (2). I leave Venice, Fl at 7:45 am and get to Biloxi at 5:00 pm. A long trip but someone else is doing the driving. The price can't be beat. For $219 I get the round trip bus ride, 3 nights in the Isle Hotel, $70 in free play and 3 breakfast buffets. Already I'm a winner.
Full report when I get back.

Have a good time. The Isle isn't too far from the Grand, the Palace, the Beau Rivage, and the Hard Rock. It's walkable but quite a distance. There's a trolley that runs, though.

    Mostly, have a good time.

When we were there for a week in Feb, the Casino Hopper was $1 per admission and half price with a Medicare card. It goes to all of the casinos in Biloxi except Treasure Bay, I think. We had a car so we didn't actually ride it, but we looked into it for the next time we are there without a car. We love the week we spend there every winter. . . have a great time!!

The Casino Hopper goes to all the Casinos at the east end of Biloxi. You are right it does not go to Treasure Bay. For that you have to take the Beach Hopper which also goes farther west to Island View, Hollywood & Silver Slipper. In all cases the hoppers are $1.20 and $0.65 for seniors with a Medicare Card.

Have you stayed at the Isle before?

When my son and I were there in March it was his first visit to an Isle casino. Therefore, he was eligible to get the new player sign-up bonus.

I believe he had to get a certain number of points on his card in order to get some free play.

He qualified on 9/6 Jacks machines. I think he started on quarters, but it was taking too long (we needed to go to other casinos and shoot video) so he moved up to dollars.

They must love him now because they keep sending him lots of offers in the mail!
