    Sounds like the decor puts it in a category I'm not sure we'd appreciate.

      IMHO .... not a well-written article .... written, perhaps, to try to demonstrate a supposed masterly of the language/written word.

      The article supplies a minimum of information while trying to portray the new Tropicania as: ?what?

      I couldn't figure it out.

      Also, what is meant by "No place on the Strip can shake the Midwestern tourist,"? Is that meant to alienate a large portion of the readers (including myself)? This article has way too many (and varied) literary devices (including much questionable stereotyping) for my taste.

      Again, IMHO, I've gotten much better info (and well stated opinions) from contributors on this (and other) forums.
