Re: Is the Cosmopolitan too big to fail?

When we visited the Cosmo last December (not too long after it opened) it was a bit busy - not as busy as you would think for a new casino, but the casino floor itself was especially quiet. For us, the machines were beautiful to look at - not as much Video Poker as we would like and all the multihand machines started at a $.25 so we had to stop at triple play- we can handle the $3.75 bet - but that ten play @ $12.50.…well, it’s a killer unless you get lucky early on. And we were really surprised at how little Deuces Wild they had on these big, beautiful, new machines. (If we even think about taking a chance on a 10 play VP machine, we almost always take that chance with Deuces Wild ) So, maybe the high denominations are keeping some folks away - (they had all the penny slots and video slots, so why not a little nickel 10 play or penny 100 play) anyhoos, we’ll check it out next time we in town and see if they’ve changed anything.

As far as the Cosmo failing, come on!!! Give ’em a break - we were impressed that they still opened in this economy and now are further impressed that their doors are still open!
