Re: A Gambling Constant – Change

In Jean's blog entry she alludes to a possible upcoming change in Station's players' club. Here is some additional information from another source - keep in mind this is still in the rumor stage:

According to a high-ranking Station Casinos executive, the company is planning to launch, within the next 10 days and with some fanfare, a substantially revamped players club program that seeks to put Station on a more-competitive footing with its major locals competition in the area.

While I was only given general information, it appears the program will include some variation of the following elements:

A consolidated players club card, including the Fiesta properties, that makes it easier for card-holders to use at all Station properties, including more than 50 restaurants and fast-food outlets.

An improved point-award program that competes more effectively with other casinos’ programs that award points at a higher level per dollar put through the machines.

Adjusted players-club levels that make it easier to achieve and maintain a higher standing.

Stretched-out time frames that allow players more time to hold and benefit from the points they accrue.
