UNLV’s Barrick Museum, 895-3381
This is an exhibit focused on explaining the banned comics of our youth.
For bus riders the UNLV campus can be accessed on the 202 Flamingo bus at Maryland or the Tropicana bus at Maryland. The exhibit is smack dab in the center of the campus.
It is a small exhibit, and the actual old comics are not there, just copies of some of the pages with explanation about how they were banned.
However, the museum has other art. Local artists display there and sell their work. There is some Native American art as well.
