The 2012 American casino Guide has a 2-for-1 admission to the Atomic Testing Museum and they will be hosting an interesting exhibit that opens next week.
The National Atomic Testing Museum, located in Las Vegas, will unveil to the
public, the first ever exhibit on Area 51 on Monday, March 26, 2012. This
unique exhibit titled AREA 51: Myth or Reality will explore the cultural
perceptions and historical records of the most secret place in America. The
exhibit will be open to the public for 18-months.
AREA 51 has long been a place of mystery, spawning speculation about secret
weapons, technology that verges on science fiction and sightings of unusual
unidentified aircraft. Movies and TV have taken the AREA 51 myth and
embellished it with networks of underground bases and aliens. The Nation's
newest national museum, the National Atomic Testing Museum, has meshed these
two areas into a very real look at Area 51, based on recently declassified
information, true stories from those who worked there and reports from
researchers and writers who have spent years studying reports of
extraterrestrial/UFO sightings.
AREA 51: Myth or Reality will take the visitor into the story and challenge
them to decide what is real and what isn't. Museum staff has worked with
numerous people to bring this exciting exhibit to the public including Emmy
award winning journalist George Knapp, scientists from SETI, former AREA 51
employees, famed A-12 test pilot Ken Collins, and many others. J.A. Tiberti
Construction, the Las Vegas Review Journal, G4S Government Solutions, AECOM,
NSTec, the Las Vegas Centennial Commission, and Mobo Publishing have
provided funding. Tickets are currently available for this exciting new
exhibit on-line at the Museum's website,
http://www.natioanlatomictestingmuseum.org. For more information call the
National Atomic Testing Museum, 755 East Flamingo Road, Las Vegas, NV 89119,
at 702-794-5151. The Museum is open 7 days a week.
