  • Detroiters---get over to the Fitz, I mean THE D

From what I've read, the new owner, a Detroit native, will make
the D a heaven for Detroiters. The longest bar in Vegas will have
something like 15 TV's--all playing Detroit teams sports. Not to
mention having an American Coney in the place. Not sure when
this will happen, if it already hasn't, but it'll be a must visit for
    a Detroiter or Michigander/Michiganian.

    website

THE D LAS VEGAS | STAY WITH US!

The website shows SIGMA DERBY horse racing game that's almost extinct in Vegas...I love betting horses live, and that Derby game. Weekday nite stays there are $39 in Aug & Sept---not bad pricing for a Holiday Inn style room in downtown Vegas.

Sigma Derby is a lot of fun. I believe there are only 2 machines left in Vegas. On the strip at MGM and Downtown at The D.

Word in the Detroit papers says the new American Coney Island joint is having a grand opening on Oct. 12.

So get over there and taste a Detroit favorite--hot dog on a bun topped with mustard, onion & chile,

You'll love it. Ask for HEAVY mustard, heavy onion, or heavy chili if you prefer an extra dollop.
