Sam's Town offers now really up

Although no one at Sam's admitted it when I drew it to their attention, my earlier post outlined a mistake they made in putting out an email saying that the May offers were available a long while ago. Now, however, they really are available. I get just a scattering of free days and $26 days mixed in. Not bad, but not free. One host told a friend of mine that playing a full 6 hours in a day kicked up the offers even if the play was slow. So I think my new strategy is to find the deuces and play slowly, sipping and looking up hands. I get to playing so quickly usually. Here if coin in is not the only thing considered, that may be a mistake.

Eastside Cannery

One difficult thing for tourists is that much of their promotion is focused on locals. However, here are some things I discovered.

* The webpass promotion where game playing earns credits good for freebies has a very short expiration date. However, for the free room offer the voucher can be redeemed close to the time of use and the casino will print it out for us. So if we are on the road and can't get to a printer, as long as we have some wifi, we can redeem and then print when we get there.

note that the spin promotion is only good for about 7 days, so no use doing it until you are almost ready to go or already there. I did not ask if they would print out those vouchers for you. Other months it may be a points promo and that will benefit tourists as well.

However, going to "earn" and clicking a couple boxes and answering an easy trivia question can earn points each day that will build up into something worth using.
And playing the free games will earn more points. Don't play immediately to win, play just to beat your last score because each time you beat your score, you get 100 points.
* For 400 earned points a free Eastside Cannery cap can be picked up from the player's club with no point deduction.
* There is a newsletter mailed out to locals. And no, you can't have one, sir. However, many of these are left in the casino by locals who bring them and no longer need them. Tourists can redeem the offers if they have the coupons in the newsletter. This includes 2 for 1 room nights, although that offer cannot be combined with a webpass free night offer in the same week.
* remember that seniors can get $10 off the rack rate of rooms.
* About 4 hours of live poker play can be used for a free buffet. Ask the manager of the poker room. The game is 2-4 limit.
