CET Resort Fees

If you feel confused about the new resort fee rules, you are not alone. The amounts and benefits seem to be established at least for the time being for those who just pay cash. However, how comped or partially comped rooms are going to be handled depends on who you talk to and on what day. Also, there is some suggestion that those with upper level cards may be exempt from the fees. So, until the dust settles, it is a very good idea to call any hotel where you intend to book or are booked and check to see what the fees will be for your particular booking. Booking before March 1 should not incur a fee.
Also, most places downtown are still without fees (Gold Spike and Plaza the exceptions) so it may be time to try out downtown and see what that is like.

Resrt fees are the worst thing to happen to las vegas in a while. They made booking a room a complete hassle with the hidden fees to certain ameneties to some players at most hotels. SURPRISE, this is the real bill. You can never be sure of prices or compare even when you try to get the info. but I guess that was the plan. I will be at the hotels that do not hide thier prices.
