During my last stay I booked cash nights at the Gold Coast and two of four for cash at Sam's Town and four nights comped at the Orleans. All were booked through the B Connected site. At the Gold Coast no resort fee was charged. At Sam's Town they charged for the two cash nights but not for the freebies. The comped nights at the Orleans carried no resort fee. So it seems clear than comped for Boyd means no resort fee, but cash rooms are a crap shoot with B Connected sometimes being the best roll.
