  • Free and Inexpensive Summer Shows at Caesars Entertainment’s Total Vegas Resorts

Here's information on some free and inexpensive Vegas shows to see at some Caesars properties in Las Vegas.

I saw Big Elvis about six years ago at the old Bill's Gambling Hall. I had heard he put on a good show and they were right. He's very, very good and it's free! I would highly recommend seeing it.

Mac King has been performing in Vegas for many, many years and has a very funny and popular show. The 2013 American Casino Guide has a coupon for up to two free admissions to the Mac King show, when each person buys one drink at $9.95.

The book also has a coupon for 2-for-1 tickets to the Improv at Harrah's.

    Harrah’s Las Vegas:
    Big Elvis
Elvis takes over the Piano Bar at Harrah’s to perform some of the King of Rock and Roll’s biggest hits, as well as popular rock, gospel, country and R&B songs. The audience brings this show to life by participating and requesting songs for Big Elvis to perform, no matter how popular or obscure. Big Elvis will have the audience singing along, laughing and sometimes even shedding a few tears. Best of all, the show is free, providing a memorable experience at a price that anyone can afford. Showtimes are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 2, 3:30 and 5 p.m.

    The Improv at Harrah’s
The Improv at Harrah’s Las Vegas has been named “Best Comedy Club” in the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s “Best of Las Vegas” poll numerous times. The show features three different comedians weekly, ensuring a unique and hilarious experience each visit. Tickets to the longest-running comedy club in Las Vegas are $37.45 and $55.95. The show runs nightly at 8:30 and 10 p.m. and is dark on Monday nights.

    Mac King
Voted “Best Bargain Show” in the 2013 Las Vegas Review-Journal’s “Best of Vegas” readers’ poll, Mac King combines humor and magic to create an experience that is great for all guests. King is known for his original magic tricks, such as making live goldfish appear over an audience member’s head. King’s use of quick wit and audience participation guarantees that no two shows are alike. King takes the stage Tuesday through Saturday at 1 and 3 p.m. and tickets are $38.45 and $49.45.

    Cook E. Jarr
If you’re looking for a classic Vegas lounge show, stop by the Piano Bar at Harrah’s and watch performer Cook E. Jar hit the stage. Cook E. Jarr performs classic hits by artists like Kool and the Gang, but incorporates music from newer artists such as Usher and 50 Cent. He also wows the audience with his ability to mimic sound effects, such as dogs barking and motors revving. The free show dazzles audience members with colorful lights, disco balls and tunes that make everyone want to stand up and dance. Cook E. Jar performs Saturday and Sunday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

    Bally’s Las Vegas:
    L.A. Comedy Club
Visitors looking for a show with a view should look no further than the L.A. Comedy Club, located inside Windows at Bally’s. The theater features 30-foot windows that offer a breathtaking view of the Las Vegas Strip. The show contains some of the most popular comedians seen on Comedy Central, HBO and Showtime. Different performers appear each week, providing the audience with a new show every time. Tickets are $38.45 and VIP tickets are $61.45. Any ticket can be upgraded to all-you-can-drink for $25. Showtimes are Tuesday through Sunday at 9:30 p.m.

    The Quad:
    Jeff Civillico
World Champion juggler Jeff Civillico combines humor, crazy stunts and juggling to create a hilarious, entertaining show that is great for all ages. Civillico juggles bowling balls, chainsaws, fire and more. His zany personality, quick wit and audience participation create a unique experience each time. Civillico performs at 2 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at the new Quad Resort and Casino. Tickets range in price from $38.50 to $49.50.

    Planet Hollywood:
    Sin City Comedy
Winner of the “Best of Las Vegas” award twice, Sin City Comedy puts a Las Vegas spin on a classic comedy show. Aside from its lineup of comedians, Sin City Comedy incorporates burlesque dancers to create an experience that is like no other comedy show on the Las Vegas Strip. Different comics take the stage weekly to create a new and exciting show. Sin City Comedy runs nightly at 9 p.m. and tickets are priced at $48.50 and $37.50.
