  • Bus stop at Tropicana and Maryland

Does anybody have any experience with this stop at night. I am going to take the 109 or 108 to Tropicana and then take to 201 to the strip to get to the Excalibur. How is the area, is it well lite etc.

I can't remember that stop in particular, but I'm not very comfortable being out that far at night with luggage. Without luggage or with luggage in daylight I don't worry, but it seems to me the luggage sets us up to be a mark. If you arrive at the airport after the WAX quits, I"d take a shuttle that one time just for peace of mind.

Another way to do it safely is to take the 109 to the SSTT, going South rather than North and then a strip bus. That way you are at a major bus teriminal with luggage usally with securityas well.
