CET has had that same fee for a while. The trick there was to book just something close to what you wanted on the website. You would not then be able to book again for that time period. So you call saying that you can't seem to book on the website and the waive the fee and often the person on the phone will then search out for you things you can't quite see are available. I have not done that in a couple years as I'm pretty much done with CET due to the change in poker rakes and rules and in imposition of resort fees which were more than what I'd pay for the room before., but Flamingo seems to be coming back around to what I like, so I may build up some points again there. I wonder if that would work on MGM also.
