Re: No free parking @ Boyd's Downtown casinos
Whenever I go downtown I always park at the Main Street Station lot.
They charged a $3 fee, but you could go to the cashier cage and get the $3 back by presenting the ticket.
I don't think many people parked there because it's a long walk from Fremont Street.
I liked to play video poker there because for many years now they give you a scratch-off card when you get four-of-a-kind in video poker.
Maybe I will find another place to park now?
There are plenty of other places to park for free that are much closer to Fremont Street and I am not sure this is a good business idea for the property.

I am not sure if this information has been posted previously, but
Boyd has adopted parking fees at both the California and Main
Street Station.
$3 Sunday-Thursday and $5 Friday-Saturday
Parking no longer free at these downtown Las Vegas properties - VEGAS INC
The Plaza has been charging a parking fee for a couple of years and the El Cortez has initiated a charge this year. In October, I parked at one of Binion's lots and took the ticket stub to the main cashier where I was able to self validate my parking stub.Last edited by westie; 05-13-2014, 03:57 AM.Tags: bourie, california, casino, casinos, downtown, free, fremont, gambling, information, las, las vegas, main street station, park, poker, saturday, station, steve, ticket, video poker, won
