    Re: Las Vegas

If you are looking for casinos with the best slot paybacks, stay away from those on the Strip and focus your play either Downtown or on Boulder Highway (Sam's Town area) but you will probably need a car, depending on where you are staying. Do visit the majority of the Strip hotels, as some of them are just amazing to see. Make sure you take in the Fountains at Bellagio, The Forum Shops at Caesars. Wynn and The Venetian. For other things to do in the area, you can drive out to Hoover Dam or Red Rock Canyon. Plenty to do and see, and remember to bring a camera!

      Re: Las Vegas

Locals casinos have better payback percentages on their slots than the Strip casinos.

You can also listen to a podcast I just did with Anhony Curtis, publisher of the Las Vegas Advisor newsletter. We discuss various ways to save money on rooms, shows, food and gambling while visiting, or planning a trip to, Las Vegas.

        FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Get yourself a copy of the American casino guide. We just spent a month in Vegas. The book is worth it's weight in dollar bills. The two for ones are great. Get four of a kind and get a free buffet. Don't leave home without it .

How much do the odds slip when they don't pay 3-2 on a BJ? Bob

              Re: Las Vegas

If the casino pays 6-5 rather than 3-2, the casino advantage on that game is increased by about 1.4%.
