  • Atlantic City, NJ gambling statistics

For you people interested in AC, the New Jersey Casino Control Commission released revenue figures indicating a plunge of almost 18% in gross operating profit. The GOP represents earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and other charges.

Resorts International reported the biggest drop at 78% followed by Tropicana Casino and Resort at 61%. Extra competition from Pennsylvania's newly opened slot parlors are cutting into their profits.

At the present time, there are about seven or eight slot parlors in the State with a projected limit of fourteen throughout. AC with in all likelyhood excel better during the summer months. Ciao.
