There's been a recent investment in new slots (since 11/09). There is more variety, and seems to be better payback, more machines that pay a medium number of medium wins. You can now take a couple hundred in and stay a few hours, rather than be cashed out in 15 minutes. Restaurants are a little bit pricey, but if you get the mailers there are frequent "buy one get one 50% off" offers, and the food is good. A year ago I'd have given it a 1, now it's a solid 2.2. Which is pretty good, considering PA's usurious tax rate on the casinos (the true source of the lousy paybacks).
