I read all of these terrible reviews before I went so my expectations were quite low. A friend talked me into going for a day and one night.Well I loved the place! Stay in the new hotel and the new casino area if you don't like smoky, dark places. The old casino was scary dark, with old machines. I'd been told you win more, but I played $1.00 and went back to the nice new casino. Great lighting, new machines. Noise level very good. You can hear some machines and still have a conversation.EVERYONE was polite, friendly and helpful. It was spring break, and they weren't prepared. Very understaffed, wait at the restaurants very long. But again politeness and apologies. I'm going back soon. 
Is it Vegas no? But that might be a good thing. I could sit for a couple minutes at a slot without some staffer thinking I was loitering. It was ok to play slow here.
