Re: Washingon state casinos
The casino near Seattle is Muckleshoot Casino. It is in Auburn, just outside of Seattle. It is the biggest but I don't know if it is the best. When we were in Seattle last September, we decided to check it out. NEVER AGAIN!!! I don't know how to explain it, but their machines were 'weird'. Maybe Steve B. can explain how they work. MKJ, if you do go to this casino, post your experience here. And Good Luck, cause you're gonna need it.

Re: Washingon state casinos
There are about 35 'mini' casinos around Seattle which offer better rules on table games than the Indian joints. You can get $1 drinks at times in these places and food comps are easy. They are generally closer to town as well. Most offer blackjack up to $200 bets, Spanish 21, carnival games and 'limit' poker. However, they are limited to 15 tables and slots are not allowed.
The best large casino around Seattle is Tulalip about 35 miles north (all of the Indian places are 30+ miles away.) I just posted a review on it.
Angels of the Wind is slightly smaller, but the liquor is cheaper and they staff is more friendly. Its another 10 minutes north. They have comparable blackjack game, but you have a better chance of getting a seat on the lower table limits there as Tulalip only has 1 or maybe 2 $5 BJ tables on the weekend.
Keep in mind there is no REAL VP in Seattle. The machines look like VP but are actually slot terminals. I don't know how the state lets them get away with it without fair warning.

Re: Washingon state casinos
I live in WA and have visited Tulalip a number of times. I don't know if it's the biggest, but I would consider it the best. There are a number of smaller card houses south of Seattle in Tukwila that my friends seem to enjoy, but I'm more of a slot machine person, so I don't particularly love them. I haven't been to Muckleshoot, but have heard good things about it as well. Both Tulalip and Muckleshoot are going to be a bit of a drive from Seattle, there aren't any casinos within the Seattle city limits that I know of.

Re: Washingon state casinos
I am WA resident and have been to most slot casino in WA. Muckelshoot is ok but a drive. Tulalip has best buffet and slot selection. Angel of the Winds is extremly crowded and smoky on weekends, but the slots are fun and food and staff are wonderful. You can get a meal for $3.
Favorite small casino is in Eastern Wash..Two Rivers in Davenport..real slot machines!
