  • Kewadin Casino - St. Ignace: Good place!

I went to this place two days in a row while on vacation in Mackinaw City over July 4, 2010. The first day, I won $120 and walked out. The next day I won $180 and walked out, so $300 all together clear! I do not know about the table games, amenities or hotel, or food and drink, but I was forced to rate them on this screen. They do say they will pay your Mackinac Bridge fare of $7.00 round trip if you use your player's card and rack up 30 points. The catch is, first, you have to ask for a receipt from the Bridge attendant, or the bridge toll attendants won't automatically give you a receipt. Then I stood in line at the casino and got $10 in tokens that I could play at a machine by getting a player's card. I didn't use my card most of the time, but I did use it with $20 and also the machine recorded my win of $250 (minus $70 I spent, so net gain of $180) and my players card said I only had like 18 pts on it. So don't plan on gambling enough to have them pay your bridge fare. You can get a free shuttle there, though. I would definitely go back! Nice place and not tight slots like I am used to at Mt. Pleasant where no one ever wins.
