  • Boomtown Casino New Orleans: Worst Casino in New Orleans

Please, please be advised that this is the WORST casino in the New Orleans area. It is filthy. You can get better food out of a gas station. I have NEVER seen so many people lose money like they do at Boomtown. If you want a good gaming experience, you will need to visit the Mississippi Gulf Coast or try Harrah's downtown. The Boomtown caters to local customers. Their customer service is the pits. If a machine jams, you can expect a wait of 10 to 20 minutes to be serviced. It is simply put, "Come to the Boomtown and Lose Your Money". What a horrible, horrible, horrible place to spend any time in. And as I said before, if you are inclined to visit, eat before you come or plan on going out to eat afterwards. The food is the pits!!!! As a second thought, I wonder if they are going bankrupt? The last time I was there, it seemed to be less and less people working. That would explain the rotten food and no customer service.

Re: Boomtown Casino New Orleans: Worst Casino in New Orleans

LOL I had a similar experience in the Boomtown casino in Reno. We had finished eating and just sat down at a black jack table. I ordered my first drink. Took a few sips off of it and hit a blackjack. i hooted out "YES" because i had put down $10.00 on it and came up $15.00. the pit boss came over and told me that I was being cut off from drinking. I had only been there for 40 minutes. Half an hour to eat and ten minutes to be cut off from drinking in the casino. I had milk with my dinner. I told the pitt boss that we had just got here. He told me I was a liability. I told him that you just lost my business. I had never been here before and it was the last time. I was actually staying there too. So i went to downtown Reno and had a blast there. I guess I will not go to any Boomtown casino.
