  • Four Winds Casino: It's alright.

This place is by far the biggest casino I have been to in Michigan so far. It's a nice casino that feels very open and pretty easy to move around in even when it's busy. They have a ton of slots, but have seemed very tight every time I have played there. Employees all seemed pretty nice and friendly. Players card system is good with some nice comps. You can get your loses back on our first day of play via free play. I usually get free play offers in the mail pretty often. The line at the players card area is usually long and moves very slow. There is not much around the casino in terms of food or hotels either.

We've only been to Four Winds once, so keep this in mind. But we really liked it--buffet was excellent the day we were there, casino is big--I mean BIG, staff was friendly. We didn't stay there--hotel prices were rather on the pricey side--but we did stay at Blue Chip and liked it quite a bit also--both the hotel and the casino. And Blue Chip was only---I'm guessing here--about a 15-20 min. drive to 4Winds. So that offers a place to stay if you don't like the prices at 4Winds. We spent one nite in Joliet Harrah's and two at Blue Chip and it made a nice trip.
