  • Twin River: January 2011

Twin River is a pseudo casino. There are no Table games, No poker tables and No free alcoholic beverages. Coffee and soda are free. There is video poker, blackjack and roulette. No need to tip your video host.Their comp point system is a joke, a PENNY a point, not like Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun where it's a $1 a point. We have never built up enough points for a free meal even though we go several times a year because it's only 15 minutes from ourhouse in Cumberland. Their points expire too. they don't roll over like Foxwoods and Mohegan. We go to Foxwoods 3-4 times a year and eat FREE every time. They offer us FREE hotels rooms, and show tickets frequently.Their "event center" is like a big gym, bleachers and fold out metal chairs. They got rid of live greyhound racing AFTER spending a fortune to remodel the para mutuel area. good planning.
