Went on SB Sunday mainly for slots and the seafood buffet. Surprisingly, it was not at all crowded. For $25 per person, the buffet was only fair. Shrimp, uncracked dungeness crab, some tiny steamed clams, some little salmon patty things, and some baked talapia where about all I remember of the seafood, although I'm sure there may have been some other minor things I missed. No mussels, oysters, or prepared seafood dishes or variety of fish. It really didn't even seem like a seafood buffet, or worth it for the money. There were other things, and we had a nice average buffet meal--only gripe was not enough seafood to call it a seafood buffet and charge a premium for that. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the slot machine inventory has been updated since our last visit several years ago, At that time, they were still running the likes of Double Diamond and Red White and Blue, with a sprinkling of the nickel novelty bonus machines of that period ( like Jackpot Party, Texas Tea etc.) Now they at least have replaced most of that stuff with a lot of more current penny machines, like Wolf Run and other stacked wild/bonus spin types, although they are still behind the Tulalip in my opinion. And their penny machines did not pay well at all on this one visit compared to our normal experience on these at Tulalip.This is a very large casino with a lot going on, and I don't feel as negative about it as some others seem to. I didn't find it particularly "dirty", or anyone unfriendly. They are less greedy about drink prices here than at Tulalip-- $3.75 for a 16 oz draft Alaskan here compared to $4.25 for a 12 oz bottled Bud at Tulalip, for example. All in all, not a place I would "avoid" by any means. ( Note that I was forced by this site to rate hotel, table games and players club even though I have no opinion on these).
